I am an integrative relational therapist. This means that I integrate different therapeutic approaches according to your unique circumstances. I believe that the relationship we create with each other can be key to us exploring together the concerns which are bringing you to therapy.

Above all, I am another human being who believes that psychological pain is so very often about disconnection, the abuse of connection or the loss of connection and that we are all enriched and healed through reconnection.

Key info:

  • I work online, by phone, and in-person in Whitestone, just outside Exeter in Devon
  • I work with individuals aged 12+
  • I am a qualified clinical supervisor

I'm a warm, straightforward, and welcoming counsellor. I believe human beings tend to do the best we can with the resources we have. So, my approach is to offer you a relationship in which you can uncover, or build up, the resources that you need to live life alongside missing-loss.

With over fifteen years post-qualification experience in the NHS, UK charities, and private practice, I have been fortunate to work with a broad range of people, on lots of different issues. I have been delivering specialist counselling for missing-loss since 2022.

In addition, I have particular experience in supporting people with the following:

  • domestic violence
  • sexual abuse and rape
  • long-term health conditions
  • the impact of injustice, discrimination and oppression
  • appearance concerns
  • sexual identity and gender identity (I am an LGBT-affirmative, and kink-aware counsellor).

Key info:

  • I work online, by phone, and in-person in London
  • I work with individuals aged 18+
  • I am a qualified clinical supervisor
  • Contact me if you have a question about our missing-loss training and consultancy services
